    • 1–2 tsp maple syrup or honey (optional)


    Tools

    • Bamboo whisk (chasen) or electric frother

    • Small bowl

    • Milk frother or saucepan

    • Heat-resistant mug


    How to Make It

    1. Sift and Whisk
    Sift 1 tsp of matcha into a bowl to remove clumps.
    Add hot water and whisk in a zig-zag motion until smooth and lightly frothy.

    2. Warm and Froth the Milk
    Heat the almond milk gently (do not boil).
    Add vanilla and sweetener, then froth until smooth and creamy.

    3. Combine
    Pour the milk over the whisked matcha. Stir gently or swirl.

    4. Sip and Pause
    Hold the warmth.
    Inhale.
    Take a mindful sip.
